photo Tracy Kramer Music has always been an important part of Tracy’s life. She began singing at an early age in school and in the children’s choir at her church. She also began formal piano instruction in 1979. In high school, she performed with her school’s concert choir and swing choir. She then studied Music Education for two years at I.C.C. while performing with the I.C.C. Singers and focusing on vocal and piano performance. After that, she transferred to Western Illinois University, where she received her degree in Music Therapy in 1991. Currently, she sings with the praise team and leads VBS music at her church. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Illinois Youth Symphony. Tracy became a Registered Music Together® Teacher in the Spring of 2012. She says she loves being a part of a program that is so strongly rooted in sound music education and music therapy principles. Most of all, she loves watching her students grow as their families share the gift of music with them! Tracy’s other passions include German shepherd dogs and Arabian horses. She lives in East Peoria with her husband and two daughters.
